About Michelle
Heal. Overcome. Reconnect.
Begins with knowing you're not alone

For much of my life, I carried the invisible weights of burnout, self-doubt, and the quiet ache of always taking care of others while neglecting myself. In 2018, I walked away from an unhealthy marriage and began piecing myself back together. It wasn’t easy. There were times I felt like I was standing in the ashes of everything I thought I knew. But those ashes became fertile ground, the place where I began to heal, to rediscover my voice, and to trust myself again.

A late ADHD diagnosis in my 40s gave me a new lens, a way to understand not just my struggles, but also my strengths. It deepened my fascination with how the brain works, why we behave the way we do, and how lasting change is possible when we work with both the conscious and subconscious mind.

Like the phoenix, I’ve risen from the fire, again and again. And now I walk alongside others on their own journeys of renewal.

For those who feel drawn to the deeper story, I’ve preserved my personal healing blog, Cinders to Strength, where I wrote through the seasons of burnout, rediscovery, and renewal. You can find it here

When you sit with me, in person or online, you’ll find a space that feels like stepping into a quiet forest clearing or settling beside a calm mountain lake. A place where you can exhale, release the weight you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom. My role isn’t to fix you, you're not broken, my role is to walk beside you, guiding gently, as you uncover the strength and clarity that have always been within you.

Outside of my practice, I’m a mom of two, someone who finds joy in laughter and creativity, and who feels most at home in nature. Forest trails, still waters, and open skies remind me daily of the cycles of growth, rest, and renewal that live in all of us.

If you’re ready to explore what’s possible, I’d be honored to meet you.

Credentials and Training
I'm a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, trained through the Canadian Academy of Clinical Hypnotherapy, with certification in Trauma-Informed Clinical Hypnotherapy.

My academic background includes studies in both psychology and business, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding how people think, feel, and make decisions. For over 20 years, I built a career in corporate leadership, where I discovered my greatest fulfillment in mentoring and coaching staff, guiding them from entry-level through to senior management. I supported problem-solving, encouraged growth, and helped emerging leaders find their own strengths and confidence. Those experiences deeply shaped the collaborative and empowering approach I bring to my hypnotherapy practice today.

With nearly 500 hours of advanced hypnotherapy training, I’ve studied neuroscience-based approaches and advanced therapeutic protocols. I continue to invest in ongoing professional development, particularly in trauma recovery, neurodiversity (ADHD, AuDHD, and Autism), and mind-body healing.

I am a member of the Canadian Association of Counselling Hypnotherapists and Educators (CACHE) and the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT), reflecting my commitment to professional standards and continued learning.
