Frequently Asked Questions
Hypnotherapy
Is hypnosis safe?
Yes. Hypnosis is a natural, focused state of awareness that many people experience every day, like when you’re absorbed in a good book or a long drive. In session, you remain aware, in control, and can pause or stop at any time.
Will I lose control or do something silly?
No. Clinical hypnotherapy is very different from stage hypnosis. It’s a collaborative, respectful process where you’re always in charge. You won’t do anything you don’t want to do.
How many sessions will I need?
Every person’s journey is unique. Some notice meaningful shifts after a few sessions, while others choose to continue longer for deeper integration. As a guide, most clients benefit from 6–8 sessions per issue.

Do you work online?
Yes. Secure video sessions are available, and many clients appreciate the comfort of working from their own home. I’ll also send a simple checklist so you feel fully prepared for an effective online session.
Are results guaranteed?
As with any therapy, results vary depending on your history, goals, and how you engage with the process. What I can guarantee is a compassionate, evidence-informed approach, clear communication, and a safe space to support your growth.
Safe and Sound Protocol
Is SSP safe if I'm easily overwhelmed or highly sensitive?
Yes. SSP is intentionally gentle and slow. We move at your pace, and your nervous system's comfort guides every step. You never have to push through discomfort, we adjust and pause as needed.
How long does the program take?
It varies based on your pathway and individual pacing. Most people move through SSP over 3 to 12 weeks, depending on their nervous system's capacity and the level of support they chose.
What if I notice strong reactions or emotions during the program?
This is completely normal. We'll check in regularly, adjust pacing as needed, and use grounding practices to help you feel supported and steady. Your system sets the pace, not the protocol.
